Overview
Sprout Blocks (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is a puzzle game developed by quabebap. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
The App does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, or contact details.
Collected automatically by the third-party services we use:
- Device and usage data — device model, operating system version, language, app version, and in-app events such as levels started and completed.
- Approximate location derived from your IP address (not precise GPS).
- A mobile advertising identifier used to serve and measure ads.
- Crash and diagnostic data to help us find and fix problems.
Stored only on your device: your game progress, settings, sound preference, selected block style, and premium status. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.
How We Use Information
- To display and measure advertisements.
- To understand how the App is used and to improve gameplay and difficulty balancing.
- To diagnose crashes and improve stability.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third-Party Services
We rely on the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob (advertising) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Firebase Analytics (usage analytics) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Apple App Store / Google Play (in-app purchase processing) — governed by Apple’s and Google’s respective privacy policies.
Advertising and Your Choices
The free version of the App shows ads through Google AdMob. Depending on your consent and region, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.
- On iOS you can control ad tracking under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and through the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in your device settings.
Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), we present a consent request before serving personalized ads. Purchasing Premium removes all ads.
In-App Purchases
The App offers a one-time “Premium” purchase that removes ads and unlocks all levels. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Your premium status is stored on your device and can be restored with “Restore Purchases”.
Children’s Privacy
The App is family-friendly and may appeal to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is described here. Where the App is offered to children or in child-directed contexts, we configure our advertising and analytics providers to use child-directed treatment and to serve only non-personalized ads, in line with COPPA, the Google Play Families policy, and Apple’s requirements for kids. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will address it.
Data Retention and Security
Analytics and crash data are retained by our providers according to their policies. Data stored on your device remains until you delete the App or clear its data. We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data and to object to certain processing. International Transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Such transfers are handled under the safeguards described in the providers’ policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date shown at the top of this page.
